Full time research scholar positions in the areas of Computer Sciences, Arts & Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences and Law.

Fellowship (Pay): Rs 45,000/= per month

Role Summary:

The Research Scholars will be working in the area of advanced Computer Sciences, Arts & Sciences, Life Sciences and Law.

a)     Life Sciences:

Applications in the context of Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology and Environmental Sciences and Marine Sciences.

b)   Computer & Data Science:

1) Computer Vision (3D vision, Activity/Action recognition, Adversarial Attacks)
2) Biometrics (Multimodal and Forensics, Anti-Spoofing)
3) Topological Deep Learning (Theory and Applications)
4) Speech Pathology (Disordered Speech Assessment & Disordered Speech Recognition)
5) Augmentative and Alternative Speech Communication aids
6) Natural Language Processing.
7) Explainable AI in Signal processing
8) Signal processing Technologies for 6G and beyond.

c) Law:

Constitutional law: A major legal research and studies, many law journals dedicated to discussing constitutional issues.
International law: In global context, covering a wide range of subjects like human rights and international commerce.
Competition law: includes; business affairs, such as contracts, compliance, and liability.
Environmental law: environmental problems and the relevant laws, such as the protection of water, risks from chemicals, or climate change issues.

d) Arts & Humanities:

Philosophy: Philosophy of Mind; Metaphysics; Philosophy of Consciousness; Philosophy of Science. Psychology; Cognitive Neuroscience; Literature; Topics. Economics: Development Economics, Rural/Agricultural Economics and Political Economy

Qualification:

Ø  Life Sciences: Post Graduate degree in Microbiology/ Biochemistry / Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology or equivalent degree with first class from a recognized university.
Ø  Law: A post graduate degree with first class in law from a recognized institution in India or abroad.
Ø  Computer Sciences:  A post graduate degree with first class in Computer Science / Data Science / Electronics and Communication Engineering / or related field.
Ø  Arts & Sciences: Relevant post graduate degree with a first class.
Ø  Research experience in the form of post-graduation projects.
Ø  NET/GATE qualified candidates will be given higher preference in selection.

Ph.D. Registration:

The selected RSs will register for Ph.D., at Sai University. The annual fee for Ph.D. is Rs 50,000/-. The RS(s) have to find their own accommodation.

Responsibilities:

The selected RSs will be responsible for:

Ø  Research: Carrying out research.
Ø  Teaching: Teaching undergraduate students.
Ø  Laboratory: Organizing laboratory experiments maintaining labs, and implementing safety precautions.
