The LLM Program at Sai University is designed to create academic leaders for the 21st century who can effectively respond to changes in the legal domain, construct new theoretical frameworks that explain and critique such changes, and innovate through new pedagogic approaches. The program is designed keeping in mind that most law schools in India do not offer courses on regulation, be it in the undergraduate or postgraduate level. To complete degree requirements, students are expected to write a dissertation on a topic in the field of regulation. Dissertation will be written under the supervision of a faculty member who has domain knowledge on the topic. This component will help students demonstrate their research, analytical and writing skills. The dissertation must be an original work and should be of publishable quality.

As the purpose of the LLM program is to create academic leaders in Regulatory Studies, there will be a Skillsets Lab that would help in providing practical training in teaching, research, academic writing, and course design.

In addition, LLM students will be encouraged to sign up for bootcamps organised as part of Daksha Fellowship.
