Gunjan has over two decades of experience in Human Resource Management at the Regional, National and Global levels. Her experience spans the spectrum of HR Function, across various domains of Talent Acquisition, Performance Management, Learning & Development, HR Operations and Process Excellence. She comes with diverse industry experience, having worked across sectors – Education, Publishing, Health Insurance, ITES, Hospitality & Telecomm.

She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, specializing in Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur. Gunjan started her career with Public Relations and transitioned into Human Resources, working with organizations such as Somfy India, Spice Global, EIH Limited (Oberoi Hotels), EXL Services, Max Bupa Health Insurance and Taylor & Francis India.

Out of the several successful assignments delivered by Gunjan, she takes great pride in the brand building work she was deeply involved in at Spice Global and the various Leadership Development Programs she rolled out globally at EXL, including the MBA Program in Decision Analytics that she partnered with IIM Lucknow.

Prior to joining Sai University, she was Head of Human Resources at Ahmedabad University, Gujarat, India. During her innings there for over 5 years reporting to the Vice Chancellor, she drove the transformation journey of the University and implemented organization development initiatives, designed and executed various HR systems, policies and processes, instituted governance practices, integrated technology and extensively digitalized the HR Function as well as institutionalized the learning culture of the University, while actively engaging with faculty and staff members.

At Sai University, working closely with the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor and the Deans, she will be synergizing and optimizing the human resource function towards building a highly responsive and performance driven organization.

Outside of work, Gunjan invests her energy into meditation, reading, gardening and family & friends.
