SaiU will house the School of Arts and Sciences which will provide a vibrant ecosystem for undergraduate education, without parallel in India. The School of Arts and Sciences is designed to unleash student talent across the humanities, social sciences, sciences, arts, humanities, and computing technology. It prepares students to be thoughtful and creative leaders in whatever future path they choose.

Aligning its goals with that of the National Education Policy of 2020, SaiU’s liberal education is focused on learning how to think, and fostering a love of life-long learning. The school offers

B.A. (Hons.) / B.Sc. (Hons.)  – 3 years course (Optional 4th year for advanced studies)

Some of the Foundation courses will be on ‘Global Challenges’ which focuses on key issues like global health, human rights, migration; ‘The Environment’ which explores the environment from multiple perspectives; ‘Artistic Appreciation’ etc. Elective courses in the School of Arts and Sciences will cover subjects such as Data Science, Psychology, Economics, and Interdisciplinary Humanities.
