Anil Annamneedi
Assistant Professor, School of Arts and Sciences
Anil has nearly 7 years of experience in Neuroscience research and has worked across the domain including behavioral neuroscience, genetics behind learning and memory, synaptic mechanisms of autism and schizophrenia. Anil has done PhD from Leibniz Institute of Neurobiology (LIN), Otto-von-Guericke University, Magdeburg, Germany. He has received laurels as Center for behavioral brain sciences (CBBS) fellow and LINSeeds fellow. He has several publications in behavioral neuroscience and neurogenetics. He began his career with Leibniz Institute of Neurobiology as Postdoctoral researcher.
Subsequently, he joined Otto-von-Guericke University (Germany) as independent principal investigator, CNRS/INRAe/University of Tours (France) as Postdoctoral researcher, and LeStudium Guest fellow, SRM Institute of Science and Technology (India) as Research Assistant Professor before joining Sai University. In his career span Anil has conducted neuroscience research related to cognition, learning and memory in health and disease at research organisations like LIN and CNRS and taught neuroscience and biotechnology courses at SRM. Anil will be responsible for teaching cognitive neuroscience and carry out the neuroscience research at Sai University.
