Dr. Subrata Dey has 28 years of experience spanning the USA, Europe, Australia, and India in areas of Business Management, Virtual and Mobile Learning, Media, and Communication. In his diverse corporate career, he has occupied management positions ranging from International Marketing in the Chemical Industry to Pharmaceuticals, Education Management, and IT-enabled Education Start-ups.

Dr. Dey’s academic credentials include a Post-Graduation degree in Management from IIM (Ahmedabad), a Master’s in Communication from Wake Forest University, USA, and a PhD from the University of Adelaide, Australia. He has been the recipient of three International Fellowships from the Government of Australia, Wake Forest University (USA), and the Richter Endowment Fund (USA). His core interests in teaching and research are in the areas of Market Research, Mobile Learning, Eye Tracking, Data Videos, and Storytelling.

He began his corporate career with Rallis India Ltd (a TATA Group company) as a Senior Officer (International Marketing). Subsequently, he worked as one of the three members of the Strategic Advisory Team for Wockhardt Ltd, managing mergers and acquisitions along with McKinsey consulting. Thereafter, he served as the Director of IMS Learning Resources, where he was responsible for Academic Innovation, and then was the COO of the internationally award-winning start-up Enable Mobile Technologies Ltd. His academic connections range from globally and nationally ranked institutions like the University of Adelaide, the University of South Australia, Georgia State University, and Alliance University.
