We are excited to announce the launch of the School of Media at Sai University, with its dynamic programs set to begin in the 2025-26 academic year. Guided by the university’s commitment to interdisciplinary and liberal education, the School of Media Studies is dedicated to nurturing creative thinkers, storytellers, and media professionals who are ready to shape the future of communication and entertainment.
The curriculum emphasizes experiential learning through studio work, internships and collaborations with media professionals, fostering innovation and adaptability. Guided by experienced faculty, graduates will be well-prepared to pursue careers in film, television, digital media, advertising, journalism and beyond.

Welcome to the School of Media – a place where you can explore innovative ways of channelling your creative energies. Within the Liberal arts framework, it allows the student to understand multiple perspectives and correlate these strands of thinking in their own journey of discovering their voice.
The Undergraduate courses in media studies, Visual Communication and Film & TV courses have been thoughtfully put together to reflect the contemporary trends in media with inputs from leading media practitioners. The strong theoretical foundations on media systems and their relevance in the globalised world will be complemented by hands on lab practice and workshops conducted by the experts in the varied world of media. Luminaries of the world of Art, Film, Television, Journalism, Advertising, Corporate Communication, Online media, Entertainment and Education will visit the campus as Visiting and Adjunct faculty.
The Faculty Panel drawn from across the globe have the credentials and a track record of delivering excellence not only in academia but also in the media industry. The inclusive and sylvan surroundings are conducive to creativity and innovation and we look forward to collaborating with young minds and the emergence of great ideas and co-creating meaningful and impactful media projects.

B.A. (Hons.) in Media Studies
The Bachelor of arts programme will be blend of courses that will delve into media and Communication, integrating both theoretical and practical aspects across various media forms. This curriculum encompasses a diverse range of subjects designed to prepare students for careers in advertising, public relations, journalism, and media studies.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Visual Communication
The field of visual communication is highly specialized and will be introduced to students over a comprehensive four-year program. This curriculum encompasses a variety of courses designed to equip students with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for success in the industry.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Film and Television
This four-year program is designed to immerse students in the essentials of film, covering aspects such as film history, movements, and visual storytelling.
