CM block 1 and block 2 Opening Function

On 17th May 2022, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Thiru. M. K. Stalin inaugurated the first academic block of 30,000 sq. ft. at Sai University and laid the foundation for the second academic block of 2 lakh sq.ft. on the main campus at Paiyanur.

Mr. Stalin congratulated Mr. K.V.Ramani, Founder and Chancellor, for launching a world class university near Chennai. He was confident that Sai University will bring laurels to Tamil Nadu and the world. Higher Education Minister Dr. K. Ponmudi wished Mr. Ramani’s team abundant success and a glorious future.

Sai University’s founding Vice-chancellor Prof. Jamshed Barucha; Dr. Mohamed Rela, Chairman and Director, Dr. Rela Institute and Medical Centre; and Reena Patel, Dean of the school of law, Sai University, addressed the gathering.

  • The University will limit all non-essential visitors and business on all campus property in order to mitigate the exposure of our community.
  • All visitors are required to follow the TN Government guidelines on lockdown and restrictions on COVID-19 before registering on the campus visitor registration form.
  • Masks are mandatory.
  • Physical distancing is one of the essential behaviours required to mitigate the risk of infection and spread of the virus. In any public setting on campus, visitors must maintain at least 6 feet of distance so as not to allow possible contact if an infected person were to cough or sneeze.
  • Visitors who feel sick or who experience any symptoms of COVID - 19 cannot come to the campus and must contact their host to reschedule the visit to campus.Visitors must be 24 hours free of ANY symptoms potentially related to COVID - 19 in order to be permitted on the SaiU City campus.
