Dr Vikramaditya Khanna
Dr. Vikramaditya Khanna is the founding and current editor of India Law Abstracts and the White Collar Crime Abstracts on the Social Science Research Network. His areas of research and teaching interests include corporate and securities laws, corporate crime, law in India, corporate governance in emerging markets, corporate and managerial liability, and law and economics. He was invited to testify before the U.S. Congress and is a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the prestigious non-partisan think tank based in Washington. Dr. Khanna is the William W. Cook Professor of Law at Michigan Law School. He is faculty director of the Directors’ College for Global Business and Law and co-director of the Joint Centre for Global Corporate and Financial Law & Policy. He taught at Northwestern and Boston University before joining U-M Law School as a full-time professor in 2004. In 2008, the university's student paper, The Michigan Daily, profiled him as U-M's youngest tenured professor. He earned his S.J.D. at Harvard Law School and has been visiting faculty at Harvard Law School, a senior research fellow at Columbia Law School and Yale Law School, and a visiting scholar at Stanford Law School. He was a recipient of the John M. Olin Faculty Fellowship for 2002–2003. Professor Khanna’s papers have been published in several academic journals including the Harvard Law Review, Michigan Law Review, Supreme Court Economic Review, Journal of Empirical Legal Studies, and the Georgetown Law Journal.
