Lt General Arun Ananthanarayan retired from the Indian Army in June 2024 after an illustrious career spanning nearly four decades. Throughout his tenure, he held various high-level positions involving a wide range of responsibilities, including:

  • Analyzing Futures, Predicting Scenarios, Strategy Formulation and Implementation
  • Planning and Execution of major Procurements
  • Developing Doctrines and Policies
  • Driving Efficiency Enhancement
  • Providing Strategic Guidance

 

Lt General Ananthanarayan was instrumental in Change and Process Transformation, Recruitment, and Training across diverse verticals, levels, locations, and jobs, overseeing around 1.2 million team members and managing substantial budgets in the range of thousands of Crores.

As the Head of Strategy for the Army, he served as the primary Army liaison for the five Southern States, overseeing all deployed Land, Assets, and Manpower. He also supervised Training, Education, Legal, Medical Establishments, and provided Aid during Times of Need, such as Floods.

Additionally, Lt General Ananthanarayan has international experience, having served with Multi-National Components in Cambodia, Sierra Leone, and the UN HQ in New York. In these roles, he contributed to Operations, Audit and Investigation, Forecasting, Monitoring of complex programs, and Leadership Development, impacting millions globally.

Lt General Ananthanarayan is also an acclaimed Motivational Speaker across multiple Industries and audiences with over 1000 Sessions and he also conducts workshops and lectures on Development of Strategic Thought, Org Development, Personal Efficiency Enhancement, Leadership Building/Development and Branding/ ReBranding for senior leadership/small teams and large work forces.
