Niranjan Bose

Niranjan Bose is the Managing Director of Health & Life Sciences Strategy at Gates Ventures LLC, where he serves as the science advisor to Mr. Bill Gates. Prior to joining Gates Ventures in August 2014, he was the chief of staff to the president of the Global Health Program at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
He received a BTech degree at BITS Pilani and then a PhD in Molecular Biology from the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. He joined the Gates Foundation, where he rose to the position of Chief of Staff to the President of the Global Health Program, and then joined Bill Gates at his private philanthropic foundation, Gates Ventures.
